Bio Medical Laboratory (BM Lab) specializes in microbiology, cytology, chemical pathology, immunology, haematology, immunohaematology and urine analysis.
HISTORY
Bio Medical Laboratory Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1991 as the first private medical laboratory in the town of Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Previously named after the town it was founded, the laboratory was then renamed to Bio Medical Laboratory.
The organisation shall provide medical services that meet the needs and requirements of the surrounding community. In this respect, the community will enjoy quality and promotion of healthy living.
The mission of the organisation is to develop involvement and interaction of our customers to achieve their health as an important asset to enjoy a quality life.
B.M. Laboratory is determined and committed to carry out the following objectives:
- To establish the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System.
- To provide medical laboratory testing services in accordance with the applicable standards to satisfy the expectation of customers and satisfy the requirements of accrediting body and authorized body.
- To ensure that all the laboratory personnel be familiarize and comply themselves with the documented quality system and competent in performing their assigned duties.
- To ensure that all equipment related to the testing activities are properly maintained and monitored.
